The objective is for you to build authentic relationships within the group, relationships that enable you to learn to love others who are different to you, and to discover as a reality the treasure of relationships built on the foundation of a relationship with Jesus, his life, and his teaching.

Discussion and Sharing
- What is your experience of praying? How does praying work/or not work for you?
- Do you believe that God listens to you when you pray? Do you feel that God is sometimes deaf?
- Read Psalm 139 (especially verses 1-4,13-16). What does this Psalm tell us about the knowledge and connection God has with us? Does this Psalm help you understand that “God gets you…”, that God understands you? If God knows you so well, why then should you still pray?
- Do you pray honestly to God from the perspective of how your life is really going?
- What does it mean to say we must confess our sins to God? Are you prepared to share honestly with God in this way? Do you think keeping a prayer diary might be helpful for you?
- Do you ask God for what you need when you pray? Does God listen to you and give you what you ask for?
- Take your time with Luke 11:1-13. Why do you think Jesus taught the disciples to pray in this way?
- What do you need to ask God for today?
Prayer: Share prayer requests and then pray together.
Benediction Prayer: And now may the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, now, and forever more. Amen
Have a wonderful week.
God bless.
Tim.
