The Peace of Jesus

Readings:

Psalm 67 (this can be used as part of your opening prayer)
John 14: 23-29

Questions ¹:

1. What is the command that Jesus gives his disciples (see vs 15-16, 23)?

2. What does Jesus promise the Spirit will do for the disciples (vs. 26)?

3. How does Jesus explain that his ongoing presence with them will work (vs 27-28)?

4. In what ways will all three persons of the Trinity be with the disciples in the future?

5. Have you ever experienced a beloved teacher or mentor moving or passing
away? What did they leave for you to help you?

6. How do Jesus’ promises to his followers then empower and enable you in your life-in-Christ today?

Action:

Where do you need peace in your life right now?
