CARING
“Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
Colossians 3:12
Nelson Mandela once said, “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
We believe in the worth of each person’s life and that we are all capable of making a difference in the lives of those who are lonely, afraid, sick, hungry, homeless, poor and unsaved. We believe that no matter how small our act of service may be, God is able to use it to transform the life of someone else.
SMALL ACTIONS LEAD TO CHANGED HEARTS
VISITATIONS

At times of illness we know that a visit either at hospital or at home can be very meaningful. It is our special privilege to share your journey with you and to offer our support in which ever way we are able.
PRAYER

We know that our Father hears our prayers and we strongly believe in interceding on behalf of those in need. Please attach your prayer request to our Prayer Net on the side of the Sanctuary, or contact us directly. We will undertake for you.
MEALS

When a crises or ill health visit we know that preparing a meal may be difficult. When such a need arises, receiving a cheerful home prepared meal helps to lighten the load and reminds us that we are valued and loved.
TRANSPORT

Many of our retired members offer transport to and from Knysna and George for those hospital and doctor’s visits that prove too challenging to get to. This does mean making arrangements well in advance of your need.
