STMC Choir
Welcome to our early morning Service. Here you can expect to sing all your favorite hymns, led by our very own Jill Kirkland and her dedicated choir. You will also find familiar and precious words in the liturgy that leads us to the communion table.
Please join us for a cuppa (something) at our special Visitor’s Tea table after the service (in the foyer in front of the standing cross). Our team on duty look forward to meeting you.
Should you have any prayer requests, please indicate this to the communion stewards at the altar rail, or come to the rail afterwards and the steward on duty will meet with you in prayer. You may also write your prayer down and attach it to the prayer net in the knowledge that our prayer worriers will undertake for you.
Our information desk at the entrance door is always operational and if you have any queries please make use of their services.
CHOIR
GOT a voice? Love to sing? Join our choir!
Our committed nucleus choir is made up of singers who never miss a practice on Wednesday evenings, or a communion service on Sunday morning.
Singing is the most rewarding form of praise. Tunes inspire words, and together they tell the story of love, forgiveness, compassion and the many teachings of Jesus Christ.
We all love music and without the breath of life we would not be able to sing.
Once a year we absorb other singers and perform a big work which is a serious challenge to us all. The choir’s contribution to fund raising.
Our Prayer.
Bless, O Lord, us thou servants who minister in Thy Temple; Grant that what we sing with our lips, we may show forth in our hearts, and what we believe in our hearts, we may show forth in our lives; Through Jesus Christ our Lord, AMEN
